Meet our current fabulous artist, Tara Reed! Her mood boosting illustrations have been brightening our walls since mid-July as part of our rotating series of local artists. Spend an evening enjoying her art, asking her questions, and if you’re so inspired, taking some delicious pieces home to boost your own spaces. Light refreshments will be served alongside our extensive selection of craft beers and ciders, cocktails, and NA beverages.
About Tara:
Tara Reed is a global illustrator, designer, and licensing artist based in Raleigh, North Carolina. Join us for our annual release and celebration of the season’s most delicious brew: Our Barktoberfest Lager. We’ll have live German style music by Durham regulars Oompah Deluxe from 4pm-6pm, and a German menu from our friends at Breakaway Cafe Carrboro available from 3pm-8pm. Throughout the afternoon, play classic German Fest games with us and get your lager on!
Join our fine friends from Independent Animal Rescue as they introduce their adorable and ADOPTABLE friends! They’ll be on the Dingo Dog patio from 4pm-6pm — come pet sweet animals who need good homes and learn more about becoming a pet parent.
This event immediately follows our Adult Spelling Bee (2pm-4pm) so come early, grab a drink, and watch our intrepid group of spellers try to win fun prizes. Then consider adopting a beautiful, loving prize of your own! See you Saturday!
